Main board of Forum of Tuzla Citizens:
 

 

 

 

1. Vehid Šehić, president

He was born on May 4, 1952 in Tuzla , where he finished primary school and Gymnasium. He finished Law Faculty at Sarajevo University in 1976. After that, he worked in Prosecution Office till 1983. After that he worked as a lawyer. Until 1988 he worked as judge and deputy president of the Higher Court in Tuzla , and in 1994 he started again to work as a lawyer. He is one of the founders of Forum of Tuzla Citizens and he was very involved in development of network of civic activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina . He is also one of the founders of Citizens Alternative Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CAP BiH). Currently he is the president of Forum of Tuzla Citizens and Citizens Alternative Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina . He is active participant of Democratic Alternative of BiH. In the field of protection of human rights he is permanent collaborator of Helsinki Committees for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina , Serbia and Croatia . He was the member of Independent commission for making of state symbols of Bosnia and Herzegovina , which was established by the Office of the High Representative. He is also the member of Independent Media Commission. Currently he is president of Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina .

He is not a member of any political party. Father of two daughters that are born on 1981 and 1983.

 

2. Nada Mladina, vice-president

She was born in 1947 in Tuzla . She finished primary school and Gymnasium in Tuzla . She finished Medical School in Zagreb in 1970 and after that she had internship in Medical Centre in Tuzla . She has done advanced training in the field of pediatrics in Children's Hospital in Tuzla . The last year of her advanced training she finished in Institute for Mother and Child in Zagreb , where she also finished postgraduate studies "Protection of Health of the Mother and a Child", and specialised at University in Zagreb in 1978. After her specialisation she worked as chief of the department for intensive care and therapy in Children's Hospital (later on Clinic) in Tuzla .

At the beginning of the war, together with several friends of children, she established humanitarian non-governmental organisation "Our Children" Tuzla and many activities in providing of basic needs for children, especially refugees, wounded and sick, and among the other this organisation provided hospital treatment outside Bosnia and Herzegovina .

In 1999, in the open competition of "Woman 21", she received silver brooch for the field of medicine.

She is very active in Forum of Tuzla Citizens, with many activities in preservation of multi-ethnical principle of life in city if Tuzla and Bosnia and Herzegovina .

 

3. Željko Rička, vice-president

He was born on June 13, 1955 in Tuzla . He finished secondary school in Tuzla . He finished his M.A. examination at Economical Faculty in Sarajevo (in 1996) and Economical Faculty in Belgrade (1997). Since 1992 he worked as director of Commercial Bank in Tuzla . He speaks English and Russian language.

 

4. Azra Miletić, member

She was born on November 15, 1953 in Jajce. She finished primary school and Gymnasium in Tuzla , and graduated at Law Faculty in 1976. Her first employment was in Higher Court in Tuzla , as law clerk, and after she passed qualifying examination for judge, she worked in Lower Court in Lukavac (1978 - 1985). After that she worked as the judge of the Higher Court in Tuzla (1985 - 1996). Since 1996 she works as a lawyer.

She is a member of Forum of Tuzla Citizens and its main board, and she is also president of FTC Human Rights Protection Board since 1995.

 

 

5. Sejfudin Vrabac, member

He was born on May 15, 1955 in Tuzla . He finished primary and secondary school in Tuzla . He graduated in 1978 at the Mining and Geology Faculty in Tuzla , Geology Department. He passed his M.A. examination in the field of geology at the same Faculty in 1986. His mentor was academic Ivan Sokolic. He passed his Ph.D. dissertation in 1990. Now he works as associate professor at Mining and Geology Faculty in Tuzla , Geology Department.

He is the member of Forum of Tuzla Citizens since it was established. At the beginning of 1995 he was elected for a member of FTC Main Board.

 

 

6. Ante Raos, member

He was born on September 5, 1931 in Macedonian village Gari, municipality Debar. He lives in Tuzla since 1942. He finished Technology Faculty (1958), passed M.A. examination in 1967 and Ph.D. dissertation in 1970. For 21 years he was the leader of Coke and Chemical Plant in Lukavac and "Sodaso" Tuzla . He was the first president of Forum of Tuzla Citizens. Also he was the first president of Association of Managers BiH. He is the member of Association of Independent Intellectuals "Circle 99" Sarajevo . He actively participates in the work of Society "Croatian House" and Club "Ivan Mažuranić". He is the member of Board of Directors of Soros Foundation - Open Society BiH. He was active in sports and sport work. He was the president of Football Union and Union of the Communities for Physical Culture of Socialistic Republic Bosnia and Herzegovina . He was the member of the Board of Directors of Football Association of Yugoslavia. He was the president of Communities of major League of former Yugoslavia . He received many medals and acknowledgements.
