During the preparation of the public discussion in Prijedor, which was scheduled for November 13, 2009, the Forum of Tuzla Citizens (FTC) also planned to hold the press conference, which was scheduled for 10.45 a.m., i.e. just before beginning of the public discussion itself.
The basic aim of the press conference in Prijedor was to inform the citizens of Prijedor about the activities and aims of the project that FTC implements, but also to provide the public with the information why the implementation of the constitutional changes in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is necessary.
Since FTC is familiar with the way journalists cover any kind of organised activities, the short press conference was scheduled just before the beginning of the public discussion in order to provide the journalists with the information about the project activities.
Mr Vehid Sehic, the president of FTC, and Mr Damir Miljevic, who holds MA in economics, presented the project and aims of the activities that are being organised. They also answered the questions of the journalists.

The turnout of the journalists was excellent. Representatives of all printed and electronic media from Prijedor covered the press conference, but also the first part of the public tribune.
The following media covered the press conference:
- Nezavisne novine
- BH Radio 1
- Free Radio Prijedor
- Correspondent of K3, Bn and NTV 01
- Fokus, the daily newspapers.
Mr Miljevic received great attention from the journalists since he is a very famous person in this part of BiH. He spoke about the economic aspect of the constitutional changes in BiH, which was very interesting for journalists, since they asked him many questions.
According to the information we got from the partner organisation “Don” from Prijedor, the information from the press conference were presented to the public in a very good way, emphasising the economic aspect of the importance of the constitutional changes in BiH on its way towards the European Union.
